Most people think that doctors have lot of medical knowledge so they must be having perfect health. However, the inside truth is that doctor are the worst at taking care of their own health because they prioritize health of their patients more than themselves.
But I am very smart and having realized it, I have decide to optimize my health in 2024 and here’s a checklist of what I have in mind.
I'll educate myself about difference between fat loss and weight loss
I'll read about nutrition
I'll measure my body
I'll learn to count calories
I'll read more books
I'll cook one meal a day for myself
I'll workout at least 3 days a week
I'll sleep at fixed time
I'll not cut sleep to workout
I'll take 30 day challenges and record progress
I'll increase NEAT
I'll start writing my thoughts.
I'll revive a dead hobby
I'll cut back on sugars/smoking/alcohol
I'll eat more natural food / eat one fruit a day/ one salad a day
I'll limit screen time
I'll set a budget for my health
I'll get pending medical tests done
I’ll spend more time with family
I’ll make an accountability buddy.
I’ll focus on mental health -anger, self talk, motivation
I’ll become open to mental health therapist
I’ll take rest and avoid burnout
I’ll Keep educating folks online and offline.
It’s a long list but if you observe closely, these are minor tweaks or hacks rather than big changes.
I’ll keep you posted on my progress if you also keep in touch with me and share how are you going to optimize your life in 2024.
